Progress ("Progress", "we", "us") operates the online tracking service at https://progres.al (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Progress acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the platform.

A. Account Data — If you create an account, we collect: your name, your email address, your sign-in credentials (stored securely) and your preferred language.

B. Check-in and Progress Data — Your daily check-ins (sport, steps, healthy eating), recorded meals, the photos you upload and your daily and monthly summaries.

C. Guest Data — If you use Progress without an account, your entries are stored only on your device and never reach our servers.

D. Technical Data — Device and browser type and sign-in security events. We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking tools.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Performance of a contract: for managing your account and keeping your data in sync across your devices
  • Legitimate interest: for the security of the service, fraud prevention and improving the app
  • Legal obligations: where required by law
  • Consent: for optional communications, where applicable

4. How We Share Personal Data

We share data only where necessary:

A. With service providers (data processors) — We use trusted providers for hosting and infrastructure and for authentication. They operate under contractual agreements for the protection of data.

B. We never sell personal data.

Your check-ins, photos and summaries are not shared with other users or with any third party. They are visible only to you.

Our infrastructure and some service providers may be located outside the European Economic Area (including the US).

When we transfer data outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: while your account is active + up to 24 months after inactivity
  • Photos and check-ins: until you delete them, or until your account is deleted
  • Technical and security logs: up to 90 days

7. Marketing

We do not automatically enrol users in marketing communications.

If we ever offer marketing communications, clear consent will be required and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your data
